OMG - Old Blog!

http://beena120483.tripod.com/sheenaslosingtrip/id12.html

The scale is moving!

Almost 8 months post surgery and I am 171.7, that means I have 1.7lbs left to my preferred goal and 11.7 left to the doctors goal. WOW, I thought I'd never get there. Plus after I have a lower body lift and boobs I should be right around 150/155, depending on when I get it done. I gotta see if I can "convince" Kaiser to cover it or if I need to save. Either way I have 4 years before my 30th birthday and that's when I'd like to re-do my wedding pics and everything.

Everything is going well here EXCEPT for my car, I went to the gym once this week lol. I noticed a huge increase in my sex drive, while a decrease in my food intake and I stopped craving carbs or food period. It's odd how bodies work after gastric bypass surgery.

I have lots of traveling this year for my business, so it should be interesting going to all these places post op. Luckily I can adapt to most situations so I'm not too scared.

I tried wine about a month ago and it goes down fine, gets me drunk and I sober up fast. It's nice to be able to join in on the party once in awhile, but not too frequently.

My drug of choice - nyquil - a few tsps and I'm out like a light and sleeping like a baby!

So its a new year, and my stall is gone for the moment. I'm excited for this summer, to be able to wear a bathing suit, take pictures and not be the "fat" girl anymore!

Happy New Year

So in order to be positive, I'm not going to mention how horrible the year ended and how badly it begun. However I am excited to mention that, no more than 2 days after I email my doctor about my stall I start to lose again!

Stress maybe? Being busy maybe? Who knows, all I know is the scale was down to 173.2 TONIGHT! Which makes me wonder if it'll go lower or stay low. Who knows, but I'm happy it's finally not saying 177 anymore!

I go away for a leadership retreat this weekend with my wonderful team, I am so excited! It's going to be a great weekend!
